According to the school's 'Notice on Doing a Good Job in the 2023 Graduate National Scholarship Review Work' (http://xgb.hfut.edu.cn/info/1061/16078.htm), the arrangement for the selection of National Scholarships for Graduate Students in the School of Computer and Information Science in 2023 is as follows:

1, September 15th - September 19th: Students fill out the 'Graduate National Scholarship Application Approval Form' (Attachment 2) and the 'Graduate National Scholarship Application Commitment' (Attachment 4), apply to the college and submit materials (the deadline for materials is September 19th at 17:00, and it is for work completed during the study period, late submission will be considered as automatic abandonment), five copies of the paper version of the materials, please submit to Science and Education Building A1101; the electronic version is sent to the email: computer_graduate@163.com, the naming format is: name + student number + master/doctor + national scholarship application.

2, September 20th - September 28th: The college summarizes, organizes and reviews the application materials, contacts and implements the external defense expert group members, and organizes the application students to participate in the defense (the specific defense location and time will be notified separately).

3, September 29th - October 5th: The college's National Scholarship Review Committee working meeting determines and publicizes the recommended candidates for the National Scholarship (publicity for 5 working days).

4, On October 14th, the college will submit the 'Graduate National Scholarship Application Approval Form', the 'Graduate National Scholarship Award-winning Student Recommendation Summary Form' (Attachment 3) and the 'College 2023 Graduate National Scholarship Review Situation Description' (Attachment 5) in both written and electronic document forms, to the Party Committee Student Work Department.

A few points to note:

1, Submit five copies of the paper version of the materials and one electronic version, all academic research achievements and various awards must provide proof materials, such as photocopies of competition award certificates, CCF recommended journal classification (A, B, C, Attachment 7) proof, A, B, C conference paper classification description (refer to CCF classification as the main, Tsinghua, Beihang standard as a reference), school 178 paper description (Attachment 10), etc., and all the above proof materials need to provide electronic version for reference.

Note:

(1) For applicants who have previously received the Graduate National Scholarship, the scientific research achievements used for the previous award cannot be included in the application materials for this scholarship;

(2) If there is no proof of scientific research achievements, it is considered that there is no corresponding scientific research achievement;

(3) For those who falsify materials, or applicants who are found to have academic misconduct during the award process, cancel all their award qualifications during the graduate study period, including the Graduate National Scholarship, Graduate Academic Scholarship, Excellent Graduates, etc., and will pursue the corresponding academic misconduct responsibility.

2, The on-site defense mainly includes the following two links:

(1) Students introduce their study research, practical experience, awards, etc. during the study period through PPT.

(2) The defense experts ask questions around the student's introduction. The on-site defense is open to the public, with a total of 6 minutes of defense time per person, including 3 minutes of personal PPT introduction and 3 minutes of expert questioning.
