In accordance with the "Implementation Plan for the Reform of the Communist Youth League in Higher Education Institutions", the "Reform Plan for the Student Union Organization" and the spirit of relevant documents, we will strengthen the functions of self-education, self-management, self-service, and self-supervision of the student union and the league organization in our college. We strive to build a team of student cadres who are firm in their beliefs, excel in both character and learning, are full of vitality, and care about their classmates. Our college's league organization can better represent and serve the majority of students and continuously create a new situation for our college's student league work. After the research and decision of the Committee of the Communist Youth League of the School of Computer and Information, the changeover work of the student cadres of the league organization for the 2023-2024 academic year of the School of Computer and Information of Hefei University of Technology is launched. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

1. Preside over the work of the league organization in charge, formulate the development plan of the league organization in charge, and reasonably arrange and arrange the work of the league organization;

2. Represent the college students to actively participate in the construction and development of the school and the college, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of students;

3. Lead the league organization to carry out high-level, high-quality student brand activities, realize "one center, one brand", and create a strong campus cultural atmosphere;

4. Adhere to the principle of selecting and training student cadres who are both morally and intellectually superior, with morality as the priority;

5. Enhance the connection with other league organizations and classes in the college, and strengthen the guidance of the college's league work;

6. Represent the college's league organization to carry out corresponding school and college exchanges;

7. Complete other tasks assigned by the school and the college.

IV. Qualification Conditions

1. Love the motherland, uphold the leadership of the Party, adhere to the correct political direction, firmly uphold the "four confidences", firmly establish the "four consciousness", achieve the "two maintenances", love the school and the college, abide by the law, and consciously practice the core values of socialism.

2. Have both moral integrity and ability, be physically and mentally healthy, have a positive attitude towards learning, have good living habits, be proactive in all aspects, and have not been subjected to school-level punishments.

3. Love student work, have a strong sense of organization and discipline, and play a leading and exemplary role among students.

4. Have a strong sense of enterprise and responsibility, have strong organizational coordination ability, good expression ability, team cooperation and innovative consciousness.

5. The registration conditions for the student union must, in principle, satisfy that the comprehensive ranking of academic performance is in the top 30% of the major, and there are no failing grades.

6. All undergraduate students of the 2022 class in the School of Computer and Information who are interested in participating in student cadre work can register, regardless of whether they have club or student work experience.

7. Undergraduate students of the 2021 class in the School of Computer and Information who are interested in participating in student cadre work need to have served as the main student cadres of the student union in the 2022-2023 academic year.

V. Election Procedure

(I) Registration (from now until 12:00 noon on June 25, 2023)

The structure of the student union can refer to the "Computer and Information College 2023-2024 Academic Year Student Union Structure Overview" (Attachment 1). Students who meet the conditions and are willing to run for election, please fill out the "2023-2024 Academic Year Student Union Cadre Election Application Form" (Attachment 2), and rename the electronic version of the application form to "2023-2024 Academic Year Student Union Cadre Election Application Form-Name-First Choice-Second Choice" before 12:00 noon on June 25, and send it to the email jsjtxzz@126.com.

(II) Election (tentatively from June 25 to 26, 2023)

This election is divided into two parts: written test and defense.

1. Written test: tentatively scheduled for the evening of June 25 (specific time and place will be notified separately), the written test questions are mainly objective questions, testing the candidates' understanding of current affairs politics, school and college routine knowledge, student work practice, etc.

2. Defense: This defense is mainly divided into two stages. The first stage is the interview defense of the presidium, the deputy secretary of the college student committee, and the directors of each center of other student union organizations. The defense time is tentatively scheduled for the morning of June 26; the second stage is the interview defense of the person in charge of each department of the student union and other student union organizations. The defense time is tentatively scheduled for the afternoon of June 26 (specific time and place will be notified separately). The defense content includes: job understanding, work experience, job planning and ideas (focus), a total of 3 minutes, followed by a 2-minute question session by the judges.

The college student committee will draft a specific list of positions based on the results of the competition and comprehensive considerations. After the election process is over, it will be publicized within 3 working days. If there is no objection to the publicity, the new team of student cadres of the Computer and Information College will be determined.

VI. Explanation

1. The changeover work adheres to the principles of "openness, fairness, and impartiality", and is carried out under the guidance and supervision of the college youth league committee.

2. Each center and department should focus on the overall situation of the development of student work in the college, and actively mobilize and recommend excellent staff who are both morally and intellectually competent to run for election.

3. Each class should actively and widely mobilize those in the class who have outstanding abilities and are interested in running for election.

4. All candidates are encouraged to run for election across departments and centers.

5. 5. The positions of the college student union and the main student cadres of the youth league organization all have a probation period and a dynamic elimination and appointment mechanism, which are adjusted according to individual performance during the term and organizational principles.
