Dean Cheng Guang of Southeast University gave an academic report to our teachers and students

At the invitation of Director Hu Donghui of the Information Construction and Development Center, at 16:00 on June 23, 2023, Dean Cheng Guang of the School of Cybersecurity of Southeast University gave an academic report titled "Network Collaborative Measurement Oriented to End-Web Cloud Architecture" to our teachers and students in the fifth meeting room of the Jade Science and Education Building. Director Hu Donghui presided over the report meeting, and teachers and students from relevant research directions of the college attended the report meeting.

In the report meeting, Professor Cheng Guang introduced the latest scientific research achievements of his team, including network traffic security analysis, proactive defense technology in cyberspace, and endogenous security mechanisms based on the next-generation network processor. Professor Cheng Guang also discussed the main challenges and open issues in current network traffic security analysis. After the report, teachers Wu Gongqing, Li Meng, Deputy Director Wang Hui, and Dr. Wang Qing discussed with Professor Cheng Guang about the thinking of engineering and scientific problems, the problem of encrypted traffic classification for privacy protection, the problem of cloud server computing overhead, and the problem of label extraction.

Professor Cheng Guang has long been engaged in research work in the direction of network security, presiding over more than 40 scientific research projects such as national key R&D, National Natural Science Foundation, and special projects of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office, winning the excellent teacher of network security, national teaching achievement first prize, leading the 2021 Jiangsu Province Science and Technology First Prize, 2014 Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Second Prize, published more than 100 academic papers, published 8 monographs, and trained more than 100 graduate students.
