"Peer Guidance, Foreseeing the Future" Career Perspective Sharing Activity organized by the Fourth Party Branch of the Undergraduate Students of the School of Computer and Information Science

In order to further enhance the academic and career planning abilities of lower-grade students and create a good learning atmosphere, the Fourth Party Branch of the Computer and Information College of Undergraduates planned and organized the "Peer Guidance, Foreseeing the Future" experience sharing activity. This experience sharing session was held on the evening of May 28th in Room 301 of Building 8, and invited three branch party members, Shan Qiao, who has signed a contract with Qingdao Dingxin Communication Co., Ltd., Xu Xiaoyan, who has been admitted to Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications for postgraduate studies, and Qiu Zihan, to serve as speakers. All first-year students majoring in Telecommunications Engineering attended the event.

First, student Shan Qiao from Class 3 of the 2019 Electronic Information Engineering major shared her employment experience and insights. She introduced the campus recruitment process, interview questions, and skills preparation in three parts, providing detailed information on resume writing, job search, and interview focus. She encouraged her classmates to strengthen their foundation from now on, as solid professional skills will always be their confidence.

Next, student Xiaoyan Xu from Class 3 of the 2019 Electronic Information Engineering major shared her relevant experience in preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination. She emphasized the importance of fully understanding the information of the applied universities, setting clear goals, implementing study plans, cultivating good study habits, and maintaining a stable mindset. Zihan Qiu from Class 2 of the 2019 Electronic Information Engineering major pointed out the importance of developing the habit of planning ahead, which is crucial for both university life and preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination. Freshmen can make long-term plans and set expectations for further education, employment, and studying abroad. Choosing employment requires improving coding skills and participating in project competitions, while choosing further education requires more effort in professional courses. They also shared their insights and reflections on selecting subject competitions.

Finally, the students opened up consultations and discussions on their own interested questions, and the three sharing students also gave careful answers.

This experience sharing session was organized by the graduating class party members and focused on the academic confusion of lower-grade students, playing a positive role in creating a good learning atmosphere. It fully demonstrated the pioneering and exemplary role of the graduating class party members, highlighting the service awareness and dedication spirit of senior students.
