In order to standardize the teaching process of "Cognitive Internship" and "Graduation Internship" for our undergraduate students, effectively improve the teaching quality of this practical link, implement the national spirit of "integration of industry and education, collaborative education", under the guidance of the college teaching guidance committee, the college has negotiated with a batch of well-known enterprises in computer, electronics, communication and other fields to sign the "Internship Teaching Base Agreement", and carry out base listing. The Cognitive Internship Course for 2022 Undergraduate Computer Science students was orderly carried out in May 2023. This cognitive internship includes two parts: enterprise site visit and professional technical report. A total of five classes involving three majors (Computer Science and Technology, Information Security, and Intelligent Science and Technology) participated.

Between May 10 and May 24, 2023, the students visited Anhui Jiyuan Software Co., Ltd. of State Grid Information & Telecommunication Industry Group, Hefei Zhongke Brain-like Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., iFlytek Co., Ltd., and Anhui Branch of China Telecom Corporation Limited. Through the detailed explanations of enterprise experts and staff, the students experienced firsthand the application scenarios and cutting-edge products related to computer and electronic communication technology, which enhanced their enthusiasm for their major and will help them set clear goals in their future course studies.

On the afternoon of May 27, 2023, the professional technical report meeting of the cognitive internship was held in Room 204, Cui San Teaching Building, Feicui Lake Campus of our school. The invited corporate experts to attend this report meeting were Mr. Xu Shihu, Solution Manager of the Security Product Operation Center of China Telecom Corporation Limited Anhui Branch, and Mr. Lu Hongbo, Senior Expert of Anhui Jiyuan Software Co., Ltd. of State Grid Information & Telecommunication Industry Group. Professor Wu Gongqing, the head of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, attended this report meeting, introduced the background and significance of the cognitive internship course, encouraged students to actively broaden their horizons and bravely climb the scientific peak, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the corporate experts who attended the report meeting. This report meeting was hosted by Teacher Yao Yuanzhi.

Mr. Xu Shihu's report was titled "Network Security in the New Situation". The report conducted a comprehensive analysis of the development trend of network space security at home and abroad, and explained the common network space security issues in the telecommunications industry and corresponding solutions. Through the report study, the students gained a deeper understanding of the connotation and industry dynamics of network space security, and further understood the development direction of the network space security industry.

Mr. Lu Hongbo's report was titled "Anchoring Direction, Planning Self". As an alumnus of our school, Mr. Lu Hongbo, with his more than ten years of experience in the power industry, especially using the deployment of transmission networks as an example, revealed the truth that one needs to always maintain a down-to-earth and dedicated work attitude in the workplace, and provided guidance for the students' career planning.

With the joint efforts of the faculty and students of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, the cognitive internship course was successfully completed. The college will continue to strengthen the "integration of industry and education, collaborative education" work with well-known enterprises, jointly cultivate talents for the country, and achieve the strategic goal of "mutual benefit and win-win cooperation".
