On the morning of May 24th, the College of Computer and Information Sciences conducted a special party class on "Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Cultivating Young Teachers in the New Era" in Room A1106 of the Emerald Science and Education Building. The party class was delivered by Nian Yongqi, the Secretary of the College Party Committee, and was attended by young teachers who have been newly employed in the college in the past three years.

First of all, Nian Yongqi warmly welcomed the young teachers to join the college and gave a detailed introduction to the overall situation of the college's history, tradition, and recent development. Then, Nian Yongqi explained the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and led the participating teachers to study General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to the students of the Science and Technology College of China Agricultural University. He emphasized that young people should "seek hardships on their own" and have lofty ideals and down-to-earth attitudes, contribute their youth to the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country. He also expressed several hopes for the participating teachers: first, to adjust their positions and integrate into the college family as soon as possible; second, to focus on both teaching and research and continuously improve their comprehensive abilities; third, to strictly discipline themselves and establish good professional ethics and style. Finally, Nian Yongqi discussed teaching, scientific research, and other issues with the participating teachers, creating an active atmosphere on the scene.

The purpose of this party class is to guide the new young teachers in the college to study and implement Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era. They should not only be proficient in professional knowledge and become "expert teachers," but also cultivate good moral character and become "role model teachers." They should strive to become unified in being both "expert teachers" who excel in "teaching and enlightening" and "role model teachers" who inspire and guide students. They should contribute their strength to the development of the college, social progress, and national prosperity.
