To promote the spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress," from April 18th to May 17th, the Party School of the College of Computer and Information Science organized the 69th development class of students to visit the Xiaoyanzi Rehabilitation Center for a five-phase "Visiting Star Children" themed practical activity, spending happy rehabilitation time with autistic children.

The students accompanied the children in the rehabilitation center to attend classes and complete the requirements of handicraft courses. Under the guidance of the teachers at the rehabilitation center, they helped the children experience shopping activities and assisted the teachers in guiding autistic children in classroom learning and game training. At the beginning of the activity, due to the special nature of the beneficiaries, the children were unable to express their personal emotions completely. Some children were unable to sit quietly and ran around. The development of the volunteer activities was not smooth sailing. However, the students were enthusiastic, patient, and actively guided the children. With sincerity, they gradually opened the hearts of the autistic children, and slowly the children all participated in the activities. The activity had a good effect.

The purpose of this event is to inspire college students' sense of social responsibility, cultivate their patience, help children with autism gradually come out of their inner world, and spread positive energy. At the same time, it also calls for more college students to join the volunteer service team, to light up youth with passion, and to warm society with great love.
