题 目：Sensor Network Security: Problems and New Constructions

摘 要：A sensor network is a wireless network consisting of many affordable and low-power sensor nodes that are capable of computation, storage, and communication. Because sensors can monitor and record information about their surroundings, sensor networks are expected to be extremely useful for a variety of environmental, civil, military and homeland security applications, and will become part of our daily life. For successful deployment of sensor networks, we must address various security issues in sensor networks. However, securing sensor networks is complicated by the network scale, the highly constrained system resources, the likeliness of node compromises, and the difficulty of node compromise detection. This talk will give an overview of the various security issues, presents some of the work conducted in our research group, and discuss several research directions.

报告人简介：朱森存教授现就职于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学。他于1996年获得清华大学机械工程专业学士学位，于1999年在中国科学技术大学获得电子工程专业硕士学位，于2004年获得George Mason大学信息技术专业博士学位。此前，朱教授是NSF CAREER奖得主，研究领域包括网络和系统安全，关注于Ad Hoc和传感器网络安全、P2P安全和恶意软件防护，担任NDSS 2011、IEEE S&P 2010以及其它众多会议的技术程序委员会成员。
